Kaleidoscopic psychedelia from Bombino, the acclaimed Tuareg guitarist from Niger. Whilst growing up he spent time as a desert herder and musician, influenced by Jimi Hendrix. He's gained fame internationally, more importantly though amongst the Niger youth. During the Tuareg rebellion the guitar was seen as symbol of rebellion by the gov and banned. Bombino said 'I don't see my guitar as a gun but a hammer to help build the house of the Tuareg people.'
