There's been a revival of Peruvian sounds. Tiger Milks Records are a label devoted to Peruvian culture and are doing a blooming good job at it. Founded by the owner of Ceviche, a Peruvian restaurant in London, who recently put out their first compilation titled 'Peru Maravilloso.' I've repped the sounds on 'It's a worldwide thing' and each time I listen to them it conjures up a beautiful nostalgia. The sounds from the 60s/70s were a mix of rock, counterculture, psychdelic and tropical dubstep! Check the interview with Duncan Ballantyne, one of the compilers of the compilation here and to listen to the sounds, see the last part of this session here.
