Beirut > Seoul > Cape Town > Tokyo

A Red Bull Music Academy special - I caught up with Etyen from Beirut, the Cape Town boys Christian Tiger School, Tokyo's Crystal / Sparrows and Korean female producer MIIN. We covered subcultures emerging from South Africa, the SAWA refugee project, Tokyo's music scene and growing up as female producer in Korea - listen to the interviews and sets from Sonar 2017 below.

Sonar 2017 was immense. In it's 24th year and the music festival still remains the most respected worldwide for electronic and advanced music. I represented Radar Radio and had 1-2-1 chats with Benji B, Soulection and Fat Freddy's Drop.

And I took over Gilles Peterson's Worldwide FM airwaves for an hour. The session features Sarathy Korwar, NX worries, Yussef Kamaal and more. Catch the session below!
